Product Guarantees
We’re aware that nearly every company out there guarantees the quality of their products. However, to insure that we deliver on our promises, all Totalglaze ranges undergo both thorough in-house and independent testing for durability, security and performance.
We’re also proud to say that we’ve been accredited by some of the most stringent and sought after quality control bodies in the industry including the Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme (FENSA) and the Federation of Master Builders (FMB).
Totalglaze are insurance backed by QANW and all installers are fully MTC compliant.
12 Year Guarantee
We will guarantee parts and labour in connection with the work carried out as stated in your contract.
This is providing that the installation has been maintained to a suitable standard during this period. If we find that the installation has been neglected or misused during the period stated a nominal charge or the labour involved will be incurred.
Under no Circumstances do we guarantee glass against breakage.
It is advised to ensure continued correct operation, the hinges and locks on all products should be cleaned and lubricated (WD40 or 3 in 1 oil etc.) periodically.
15 Year Guarantee
We will guarantee parts and labour in connection with the work carried out as stated in your contract.
This is providing that the installation has been maintained to a suitable standard during this period. If we find that the installation has been neglected or misused during the period stated a nominal charge or the labour involved will be incurred.
Rain water goods and felt roofs including new felt lips are guaranteed for 12 months only.
20 Year Guarantee
The contractor hereby guarantees the installation of a synthetic rubber EPDM roofing membrane will prevent the ingress of rain or snow for 20 years from the date upon the said works were completed subject to the following exclusions.
1. Storm damage such as falling roof tiles, trees etc
2. Damage caused by lightning, fire, hurricanes or earthquake.
3. Deliberate or accidental damage.
4. Defects in adjoining areas such as defective tiles and coping stones, pointing, porous brickwork or render.
5. Deficiencies or movement in the building structure.
6. Damage caused by leakage of fuel or oils.
7. The guarantee is only valid when full payment has been received.
